Is there any effect on Working Tax Credit or Child Tax Credit?

There may be an effect on Tax Credits. Pluxee cannot comment on individual circumstances and it is the individual's decision as to whether they wish to take childcare vouchers.

It is advisable for employees to contact the Tax Credits helpline on 0345 300 3900 prior to applying for childcare vouchers, to establish individual circumstances. Alternatively, HM Revenue & Customs have an online tool to help parents decide whether they will be better off with childcare vouchers. Please note, that whilst an employee is entitled to childcare vouchers and can also claim Tax Credits, under the new Tax-Free Childcare (TFC) scheme, parents in receipt of Tax Credits / Universal Credit are not permitted to join TFC.
